This role will lead a team to own core FP&A responsibilities (close insights, income statement and balance sheet forecasting, EAC budgeting, and executive reporting) while partnering closely with business line program management and engineering leadership. This role will require you to understand programmatic and business line OpEx performance and translate that to achievable financial plans and forecasts. TS/SCI clearance desired.WHAT YOU'LL DOBusiness Line FP&A (Forecasting, Budgeting, Close Insights)Own financial operating rhythm: monthly close insights, forecasting, and variance driversLead annual and quarterly planning cycles, including target setting, resource allocation, and performance tracking against business objectivesDevelop executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and narratives for AFS leadership to drive decision-makingPartner with cross-functional leaders to surface risks and opportunities early and drive corrective actionsIRAD & Internal Investment ManagementPartner closely with business line leadership to create comprehensive budgeting plans for IRAD programs and strategic initiativesManage IRAD budget tracking, including burn, staffing mix, milestone outcomes, and post-gate spend visibilityProgram / Customer Execution Finance (Plus: Proposals and Pricing Support)Support program performance management by tracking actuals vs. forecast for key cost elements and deliverables; provide actionable insights to Program Management and Engineering leadersDevelop metrics and a monitoring plan to ensure effective implementation of program financial plans while identifying ways to continually improve performanceSupport pricing strategy and proposal development for pursuits as needed, including modeling scope assumptions and post-award baseline set-upPartner with Growth, Contracts, and Program teams to support deal constructs, assumptions, and change management to improve deliverability and financial outcomeProcess Improvement and ToolingEstablish and continuously improve reporting processes and tools to increase transparency, speed, and decision qualityDrive process improvements across planning, forecasting, and performance management; standardize recurring deliverables where possibleREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (CPA, CFA) is a plus4+ years experience in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting within a corporate FP&A Ability to operate independently in a fast paced environmentExperience supporting program finance, program execution cadence, or defense contracting environments is a plusStrong time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressureAble to understand and communicate financial performance and variance analysis to stakeholdersCustomer service mindsetAdvanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis toolsUS Salary Range$129,000 - $171,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
