The culture is fast, feedback-rich, low on bureaucracy, and fully in-person.Our partner is hiring backend Software Engineers to build the core of an AI system that processes insurance claims end to end. The stack is Python-heavy and deeply agentic, and the mandate is to hire engineers who can do the work without AI and then hand them AI to move faster. You will own hard problems end to end, ship quickly, and operate with unusual autonomy on a team that runs an honest, high-feedback culture.Responsibilities:Build and ship backend systems across product and infrastructure in PythonDesign and improve agentic AI workflowsOwn problems end to end under fast deadlinesRaise the technical bar through a strong feedback cultureRequirements:1-7 years of software engineering experience (strong internships considered for newer grads)Strong Python and backend fundamentalsHigh agency, ownership, and a strong work ethicStandout signals: a top technical school, 0-3 years at a leading tech company, fast-scaling startup experience, or competition accolades (for example, ICPC or IOI)
