Job Description

Be Part Of A Dynamic Team

Join an established technology services organization delivering integrated infrastructure solutions across construction, structured cabling, telecommunications, and site technology environments. The team works directly with customers, construction partners, field resources, technology specialists, carriers, and vendors to ensure new and renovated locations are technically ready and successfully brought into operation.

This position provides broad ownership of projects where construction and technology are tightly connected. Rather than managing direct reports, the Structured Services Delivery Manager serves as the accountable delivery owner, coordinating the people, dependencies, schedules, vendors, costs, and technical activities required to move each project from construction planning through operational and financial closeout.

What's In Store For You

  • Full-time opportunity based onsite in Cornelius, North Carolina .
  • Broad ownership across construction, structured cabling, technology deployment, and operational readiness.
  • Direct exposure to customers, general contractors, construction managers, carriers, technical teams, field technicians, and technology vendors.
  • Opportunity to independently drive complex projects from initial planning through complete closeout.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Own the complete technology delivery lifecycle from construction planning and site readiness through installation, activation, customer acceptance, documentation, billing support, and closeout.
  • Coordinate approximately equal parts construction/structured cabling activity and technology infrastructure deployment.
  • Work alongside construction managers, general contractors, electricians, low-voltage contractors, carriers, field resources, internal technical teams, and customer stakeholders.
  • Manage structured cabling and low-voltage requirements involving copper and fiber, MDF/IDF readiness, racks, cabinets, patch panels, pathways, demarc extensions, labeling, testing, and certification.
  • Track construction schedules and identify dependencies that could affect technology installation, site activation, opening dates, or overall project completion.
  • Verify site readiness across power, pathways, circuits, cabling, equipment, access, and other upstream requirements.
  • Coordinate deployment of network and site technologies such as switches, wireless access points, phones, printers, payment terminals, workstations, and related equipment.
  • Apply practical infrastructure knowledge to conduct Level 1 troubleshooting, gather meaningful information, isolate likely problem areas, and engage the appropriate technical or vendor resources.
  • Establish clear accountability across vendors and project resources and drive open issues through resolution.
  • Manage scope changes, project costs, vendor expenses, schedules, documentation, customer communication, and financial closeout.
  • Provide accurate project reporting that clearly communicates schedule health, risks, dependencies, decisions, costs, and ownership.
  • Ensure projects reach complete operational and financial closeout , not simply installation completion.

Do you bring proven success in structured services and technology infrastructure delivery?

  • 4+ years of relevant experience across structured cabling, low-voltage infrastructure, construction technology, telecommunications, technology infrastructure deployment, or related project delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating technology activities within construction, renovation, site-opening, or infrastructure deployment environments.
  • Strong understanding of structured cabling and physical technology infrastructure, ideally including copper/fiber, MDF/IDF environments, pathways, racks, patch panels, testing, and certification.
  • Practical knowledge of switches, SFPs, VLANs, NAC, Ethernet, PoE, DHCP/DNS, Wi-Fi, copper/fiber connectivity, phones, printers, and related site technologies.
  • Ability to perform practical Level 1 troubleshooting without needing to function as a network engineer or field technician.
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, technical teams, field resources, schedules, scope, risks, and project costs.
  • Strong customer communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining accurate documentation and financial visibility.
  • Relevant project management, structured cabling, low-voltage, construction technology, or BICSI certifications are beneficial but not required. Pasted text
