Our San Antonio pediatric hospitalist group is searching for a dedicated pediatric hospitalist to join our busy practice providing coverage at Methodist Children's Hospital.
Average of 10-15 pediatric patients daily on hospital medicine shifts
Work alongside experienced nurse practitioners for newborn nursery coverage, delivery attendance not required
Mixture of day and night shifts
Night coverage is in-house from 6PM to midnight, with home call from midnight to 6 AM
Typically work shift blocks of 3-5 days, though this can be flexible if longer stretches are preferred
Care for patients admitted to the medical/surgical floors and intermediate care unit
Hospital has PICU and NICU on site
